received his PhD in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University in 1991, studying with the Nobel laureate Sir John Pople. He was a post doc at Yale University with Prof. Kenneth Wiberg and is now Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Physical Sciences, York College of Pennsylvania. His primary focus has been on developing instructional materials which incorporate molecular calculations across the undergraduate curriculum.
